Articles & Essays
$0.10 per final word. Revisions are priced using the scale to the right.
- 1 to 500 words: $0.10 per starting word
- 501 to 5,000 words: $0.06 per starting word
- Anything more than 5,000 words is $0.05 per starting word.
Résumés
$250 flat fee. Includes two revisions.
Pricing for Books
Books go through a 3-phase process of production:
1.) Research Phase: First we gather the information and research everything we need to know the story. This may involve interviewing you, people close to the subject, or simply working to understand the subject area (if, for example, the book involves technical details about an industry, trade, or has a scientific background). We charge $15/hour for this work, at a maximum of 54 hours per week.
2.) Writing Phase: After we have everything we need to write your book, we will write it out in the style and voice you specify. You get a dedicated personal ghostwriter, devoted to your story, and we'll work together to set a timeline for your project's completion. For writing, we charge $20/hour at a maximum of 40 per week.
3) (Optional) Publishing & Typesetting Phase: In this phase we prepare the work for publishing. For typesetting (formatting and adjusting the book for printing and digitization), the charge continues to be $20/hour, after which we move to the publishing process.
